Artist Bio
One of the most successful country music artists in eastern Canada, New-Brunswick based Laurie LeBlanc raised his profile significantly in 2020 with the release of his first all-English album When It’s Right It’s Right, containing the hit singles “All In,” “Another Night Like This”, and “Where Gone Girls Go.”
He’s set for Long Weekend, a double-EP comprised of six brand new songs in English, and six in French. Working with multi-award winner producer Jason Barry once again, Laurie crafted the songs to convey a feel-good summer vibe in both languages. It’s all there in the first single, “Lucky In Love,” co-written like all of the material with Laurie’s wife Jeannette, and a throwback to the sound and attitude of ‘90s country music.
Long Weekend has Laurie poised to build on the accolades garnered for When It’s Right It’s Right, which included two East Coast Music Award nominations for Country Recording of the Year and Artist Innovator of the Year, along with four Josie Music Awards nominations.
Having now found his place within the English country music scene, there will be no stopping Laurie LeBlanc as his dynamic voice and undeniable charm continues to build his fan base around the world. And who doesn’t look forward to a Long Weekend?
