How to describe Certified in one word: Powerhouse!

Celebrating 14 years together in the industry, they are known as one the best party bands in Atlantic Canada. Why? Their focus is to make sure every single person in attendance can leave with a wow moment, no matter the style of music they prefer. The variety of their repertoire is bang on, SO unique and blends perfectly with the obvious raw talent displayed by the musicians.

From the opening notes at every single show, you are welcomed by an amazing display of vocal harmonies that automatically lets you know you are in for a treat. The band is fronted not by one, but three lead singers (one male, two females), a super tight and groovy rhythm section, keyboards, saxophone and filled with vocal harmonies. A perfect blend of seasoned musicians to give your guests the perfect night!

No matter which venue or event, you will always find the following; The dancers that will dance to every song and sing their heart out, the hard rockers that would never be caught dead on the dance floor, the funky crew that will show everyone else how it’s done, the silent listeners in a quiet corner that never miss a single note the entire night, the metal heads, the pop lovers, the campfire singalong gang, the oldie’s rock n’ rollers, the classic rockers, the 90’s grunge pack, the music loving group… How do you make sure all these different people will enjoy their night? CERTIFIED! Why? Certified gets it! Because they are a little bit of all those groups themselves.

During a performance, their goal is to make sure everyone will leave wanting more. Jive and Rock n’ Roll from the 50’s-60’s, Rock, Funk and Folk from the 70’s and 80’s, Hard Rock, Alt Rock and Pop from the 80’s and 90’s to today … even touching a bit of country as well as Maritime music, covering an amazing variety of artists such as Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Pearl Jam, Dua Lipa, Bob Marley, The Black Keys, Blackjack Billy, CCR, Tragically Hip, Janis Joplin, Mark Ronson, Kiss, Queen, Joel Plaskett, Matt Andersen, Michael Jackson, Doobie Brothers, Mumford and Sons…the list goes on and on, and it’s THE perfect party recipe!

Music and friendship are what first brought them together. Hard work, dedication and true musicianship is what created “CERTIFIED”.
